The two actions that were taken by people in an attempt to solve a problem which has unanticipated and undesirable consequence are: To sell products in the neighboring state which created a new market. This had led to a restricted access to the produce, the uppage. This increased their money but as it is also consumed in that Taluka, the produce had been restricted. And the second is the handling of the uppage fruits. As much as the people wanted to harvest more, the men tried to cut off branches of the trees and even cut the tree down to harvest those unripe fruits.
